FAQs

Why Do We Only Sell Certain Filament?

1

our selection of filament is chosen specifically because it is all filament we use and recommend, its also very easy to use as it is all PLA (except glow ion the dark), all of these filaments also give off a great effect and therefore any filament you buy from us would give you great results.

What Does Silk Mean?

2

all our silk filaments refer to the shiny look of the plastics as it had added chemicals which means the finish products will have a great shine to them.

What Is The Different Between Rainbow And Dual Colour?

3

the difference between the two comes down to how the finished model will look, rainbow filament means the colour will change from bottom to top of the model however dual colour filament changes the colour of the model depending on the viewing angle, meaning you can look at the model from a different viewing angle and the colour will change making it a great item to show to any non 3D printing enthusiasts to blow their minds!

What 3D Printer Do I Need To Print These Fillaments?

4

all modern day 3d printers will be capable of printing these filaments provided they can reach a nozzle temperature of 220C and has good bed adhesion, in the event these filaments do not stick to the bed we recommend changing the bed plate or adding glue as all Silk filament requires good bed adhesion to print.
